PsychedeLiA’s Integration Practices Workshop Series hosts experts in various media and activities that are supportive to ongoing psychedelic integration. Skills learned in these workshops can be used for grounding and self care, activation of the psychedelic realm, processing of gleaned insights, and application of lessons to daily life mastery. The workshop is presented in an informative, interactive, and intimate salon-style evening. The event is open to all who are interested in furthering their education on the mindful integration of entheogens.
Introduction to Floatation Therapy: An Integration Practices Workshop with Lisa Dewey
Join us for an introduction to the concept of floatation therapy (also known as a sensory deprivation tank). A flotation tank can be a powerful self-care tool for pre- and post-psychedelic or entheogenic integration and transformation. In this workshop, learn how flotation therapy supports emotional, spiritual, physical, and mental health.
This workshop/talk will include:
● A brief history of floating.
● A distillation of the science and research behind floatation therapy.
● Advice on how to get the most out of your time in the tank.
● Tips on how to use your float experience to deepen your integration practice.

Lisa Dewey, CCHt, is a Los Angeles-based clinically certified hypnotherapist and practitioner of several cutting-edge wellness techniques. In addition to her private practice, Lisa has brought mental health guidance and personal transformational tools to large organizations such as TEDx, Yes To, Smock Media, Just Float, and Sheppard Mullin.
