BRIEF SPEAKERS, SHARING OF THE ARTS, SNACKS, AND CELEBRATION!

About this Event

Come join members of the PsychedeLiA community as we share and revel in the solstice season!

  • Community prayer

  • Open mic sharing of arts and "what psychedelics mean to you"—first come, first served signup

  • Mini drum circle—if enough people bring instruments!

  • Build-a-bracelet station to celebrate friendship and community

  • Mingling and making friends

  • Bring your acoustic/percussion instruments

  • Bring a piece of poetry or short essay (under 5 minutes) to perform

  • Bring something for our solstice altar

  • Bring a snack to share

  • Free soft drinks will be provided (tea, sparkling water, natural soda)

DATE: December 19, 2019

TIME: 6:30 – 9:00

  • Sharing signup and mingling - 6:30–7:00

  • Opening prayer - 7:00–7:10

  • Sharing segment - 7:10–8:00

  • Mingling and possibly drumming - 8:00–9:00

LOCATION: Thymele Arts - 5481 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90029 (parking available in underground structure whose entrance is on the east side Western Ave just north of Santa Monica Blvd.)
